Nitrogen

CASL has been a leading sales and service provider of Nitrogen Systems to various industries since 2002.

Our use of Membrane and Pressure (PSA) Technology allows for efficient separation of Nitrogen from Compressed Air. Our Non-Cryogenic Nitrogen Generation systems provide Nitrogen on –demand, 24 hours a day and large flow rates at high purities are achievable. Turnkey Nitrogen packages can be designed and built locally to meet or exceed industry specifications.

Our systems are designed to meet several pre-determined standards, high reliability, efficiency and responsible care for the environment. Specifically, these systems are designed with efficient use of energy and few consumables.

CASL generates gaseous Nitrogen using Portable Nitrogen Membrane/ PSA Systems that are complimented by our Air Compressors, High-pressure Boosters and Heater to provide the following services:

Pipeline testing and purging (displacing volatile products for pre-maintenance on a system and final leak testing on system with or without Helium as the tracer gas)
Pipe Drying (includes the supply of Hot Nitrogen)
Preservation of system or pipelines
Off-shore utility Nitrogen
CASL also rents and leases portable nitrogen systems. These units are packaged 20 ft containerized skids and can be easily mobilized worldwide. Packages are available with DNV and BS approvals for offshore applications. Intrinsically safe systems are also available.

Lubrication

CASL takes a holistic view and scientific approach to Lubrication, which is viewed as the “blood” of machinery. Monitoring and analysis takes place at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Trinidad, where particular focus is given to:

Lubricant condition,
Machine condition and
The determination of contaminants within the lubricant.
The information obtained from analysis is highly valuable, as it is used to make mission critical decisions. Applications include engines, hydraulic and control systems, gearboxes and even insulating oil within transformers.

CASL’s services in this area are truly extensive, as they also include lube oil storage solutions, oil spill management solutions, lubrication equipment and accessories, and engineered lubrication systems.

CASL also offers world-class training through Noria Corporation and certification through the International Council for Machine Lubrication (ICML). These services all play a vital role in supporting the lifetime of equipment, which in turn positively impacts productivity, and results in better financial returns in the long run.

Hydraulics

Caribbean Analytical Services Limited (CASL), local agents for parker, the global leader in motion control and technologies, recently launched the Caribbean’s first ever CASL/Parker Hydraulic Centre at their Point Lisas facility.

The new Hydraulic Centre further enhances CASL core competencies – the repair, servicing, diagnostics, certified testing and trouble shooting of a wide range of industrial equipment. These include:

Compressed Air

Compressed air is a safe and reliable power source that is widely used throughout the industry. Known as the 4th utility, approximately 90% of all companies use compressed air in some aspect of their operations. Unlike gas, water and electricity, which are supplied to site by a utility supplier according to strict tolerances and quality specifications, compressed air is generated on-site by the user. The quality of the compressed air and the cost of producing this powerful utility is therefore the responsibility of the user.

CASL can provide an extensive range of purification equipment available from Parker Dominick Hunter that allows the user to specify and match the quality of air for every application, from general purpose ring main protection, through to critical clean dry air (CDA) point of use systems whilst ensuring both capital and operational cost are kept to a minimum.

Added to these products, CASL has available portable air compressors to generate instrument quality compressed air and these systems are utilised for the following services below.

Transformer Maintenance

CASL's Transformer Maintenance Services are tailored to support from older installed transformers to new ultra-modern installations.

Insulation testing, ultrasound inspection, thermography and oil analysis are summarized for decisive actions. Got PCBs, no problem! We can help you remove and dispose of these oils very safely. Insulation oil and SF6 reclamation are conducted on-site.

Water Treatment Solutions

CASL has grown tremendously over the years in its business as it partners with many world-renowned manufacturers and consultants. Its diverse portfolio included the introduction of the Parker Store in 2008 to provide Water Purification Reverse Osmosis System and the Marine Industry.

At present we have RO skids from 25 (GPD) to 250000 (GPD) which can be deployed both for a long or short term basis.

RO skids can be used in the following applications:

400-800 GPD for powerboat and ocean yachts
Sailboats, large yachts’ and seaside properties, commercial marine,

Bilge water absorbent and membrane separator

Filtration

CASL is a world-class provider of filtration and separation products and services, which are critical to preventing unwanted contaminants from getting to critical components within systems.

We are equipped with a fleet of vacuum dehydrators, portable filtration skids, reverse osmosis systems, and compressed air treatment packages dedicated to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Industrial markets. Backed by on-site and laboratory testing to ASTM and ISO standards, CASL provides turnkey filtration solutions that are effective and efficient.
